Petey Crowder is a Presbyterian pastor, husband, and father who lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota and leads Christ Presbyterian Church. He has a Master’s degree from Portland Seminary and a Doctorate in Contextual Theology from Northern Seminary, and is passionate about helping people learn how to pay attention to the grace of God in their lives and respond in the places they live, work, and play.
Some of the primary authors that have shaped Petey’s imagination include Eugene Peterson, Walter Brueggemann, Scot McKnight, and James KA Smith. He loves to read good fiction, run around the lakes and trails of Minneapolis, and travel with his family.
Having worked in ministry for almost two decades and lived in contexts all over the country, Petey believes that the local church is about the work of a community coming together to bear witness to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in their midst.
