our statement of beliefs
We believe God is the Creator and Sustainer of everything. He is good, kind, and the source of all truth.
We believe God shows us who He is all the time—through the beauty of creation, the people around us, His Spirit, His Word, and most clearly through His Son, Jesus.
We believe every person is made in God’s image and that He invites people into a real relationship with Him.
We believe that relationship is only possible because of Jesus—through His perfect life, His death on the cross for our sins, His resurrection from the dead, and His ascension to the Father. Jesus is the way to God.
We believe the Bible is fully inspired by God and completely true. It is the foundation of our faith and practice.
We believe that even though Scripture is true and trustworthy, God welcomes our honest questions and wrestling. In fact, wrestling often leads us to deeper understanding and a clearer view of who God is.
We believe that seeing God rightly fills us with hope—hope that’s bigger and stronger than whatever we face.
We believe this hope leads us to live differently, loving one another and living out God’s Kingdom here and now, as we look forward to the day it is fully and forever realized.

That legacy continues today through QAVA, which builds on the foundation of City on a Hill by creating transformative resources, content, and experiences to help people encounter Jesus and live changed lives.
We are also honored to work regularly with our sister organization, Kingdom Story Company, which specializes in the production of Christian films in partnership with Lionsgate and shares our passion for telling impactful stories of faith on screens around the world.
